Portsmouth Pride at Love Southsea market

Portsmouth Pride has its first stall at Love Southsea market to meet locals and sell official merchandise.

Members of our all-volunteer Portsmouth Pride team have been manning the stall, from chilly April weekends through to sunnier Saturdays.

We have chatted to locals, garnered support for our Main Day event, given out leaflets and information, spread the word about other events in the community, collected data for our funding, and sent customers on their way with their official Portsmouth Pride merchandise! 

CP told me: 'We even had a mum come down because her daughter sent her one of our social posts about the new tees, and she was instructed to come down and buy one immediately!' Another week, someone from South Africa came along and bought some of our merch -spreading the word of our activities from coast to (South African) coast!
